I know there’s loads of superficial/silly reasons to love Tegan and Sara, like how attractive they are, their humour, or just the fact that they’re identical twins, but for me it’s things like this interview that are the reason I love them, they are so intelligent, engaged, and genuine, and I have so much respect for that. They are great role models and it makes me sad that they aren’t more popular than they are, girls need more people like these two in the media to look up to.

Agreed. When people ask me why I love them so much… it’s hard to put into words. I feel like… you either get it or you don’t. They are truly incredible human beings.
